Introduction
|
The Department of Medicine at Michigan State University is pleased to announce that we are now able to offer a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.This fellowship program was recently accredited by the ACGME and positions are available for January/July 2006.
The Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism fellowship is a joint program between MSU and E.W. Sparrow Hospital. Clinical training sites will be Sparrow Hospital’s Regional Diabetes Center and the MSU Clinical Center.
The Endocrinology and Metabolism fellowship will offer multiple opportunities for clinical research under the supervision of our clinical faculty. Opportunities for research in basic sciences also exist with collaboration with basic science faculty in the Departments of Medicine, Physiology and Pharmacology.
Applicants must successfully complete an Internal Medicine residency program in the United States before they are eligible for a subspecialty fellowship.
