The Great Lakes Cancer
Institute (GLCI) is intricately interwoven with the
Division of Hematology and Oncology.
The GLCI is a joint venture between Michigan State University
and McLaren Health Care Corporation. The GLCI has a statewide
network of clinicians and researchers to provide a framework
for clinical trials. Moreover, the GLCI has linked basic
researchers, epidemiologists, and clinical researchers
together at MSU, forming a cohesive collaboration out
of individual researchers in diverse Colleges.
GLCI
is a leading resource for cancer care and education.
Beyond treatment, the institute sponsors community education
and preventive programs at member institutions throughout
its network.
