MSU Breslin Cancer Center Achieves Additional Recognition

 

For the past two years, MSU Breslin Cancer Center has been the recipient of ACS Five Star Investor award and the Five Star Community Investor award. Now, they have become Community Champions due to their continued support of multiple American Cancer Society programs. Being a Community Champion involves active promotion and participation in many of the programs offered by ACS. Breslin is a host for the one of the Look Good, Feel Better programs, has an ACS Cancer Resource Center in the clinic lobby and has a team for the October Making Strides for Breast Cancer walk. This year, ACS has challenged Breslin to have a team of 50 people signed up for that event to be held on October 10th, 2009. It is a challenge that the staff at Breslin and the Dept of Medicine are willing to take on. If you are interested in becoming part of the Breslin team-let us know by calling 975-9500
