At the Michigan State Medical Society, Walsworth serves on the Committee on Aging, the Committee on Membership Recruitment and Retention, and the Task Force on Physician Extenders. He also serves on the board of directors of the Ingham County Medical Society and on the Sparrow Hospital Department of Family Medicine Executive Committee.
