Sparrow Health System Honors Dr. David Kaufman as 2008 Physician of the Year

 

David I. Kaufman, DO, chairperson for the Department of Neurology and Ophthalmology at Michigan State University and a member of the board of directors of the Sparrow Health System, has received the health system’s 2008 Physician of the Year award.

A highly esteemed neuro-ophthalmologist, Dr. Kaufman was cited for his leadership in guiding Sparrow’s growing relationship with Michigan State University, a relationship that has enhanced the clinical and research capabilities of both organizations.
