MSU Breslin Cancer Center Receives Two Prestigious Awards

 

MSU Breslin Cancer Center has received two prestigious awards from the American Cancer Society (ACS), Great Lakes Division: the Five Star Investor Award, and the Five Star Community Investor Award.

Award with StaffThese awards recognize MSU Breslin Cancer Center providers’ active involvement in fighting cancer on multiple fronts, and their effort to work closely with the ACS and their many programs. Lori Eastman, ACS Community Programs Manager, acknowledged that “MSU Breslin Cancer Center is a leader in the fight against today’s number one health concern”.

Dr. Barbara Conley, Chief for the Division of Hematology/Oncology at MSU, praised the Society’s commitment to research, and interactions with the public and government, and expressed that “we are happy to be aligned with them in this cause”.

The awards are proudly displayed in the reception area of the MSU Breslin Cancer Center.
